Mystery soup, and Oasis concert

It has been too long since I’ve posted. Chris, this is for you.

Last week I went to see Oasis in concert at Olympic Park in Seoul. I can’t say that I’m a huge fan, but I do really like the songs Wonderwall, Champagne Supernova and Don’t Look Back in Anger. And having sung Wonderwall probably a good hundred times in a Korean karaoke room, it was pretty cool seeing it performed by Oasis.

Before the concert I met my friend Kirby and he took me to eat some good stew. Any one care to guess what it is?

Then, we were off to the concert.

I was expecting foreigners, Oasis being a British rock band, but I was surprised at how many did show up. Most of the foreigners were standing near the stage while most Koreans had seats a little further removed. I had a seat, but that didn’t matter too much as everybody stood up the whole concert.

Overall, a good time! Liam Gallagher, the lead singer, seemed a bit too stoned but his brother picked up the slack.

And I’m glad the “No Photography” wasn’t enforced.

Oh, and the stew was dog stew, 보신탕.
