Cold day in Myeongdong
Myeongdong is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul. It’s not that I’m a big fan of shopping, and I don’t think that I would enjoy living there (who actually does live there?).
But from time to time I enjoy feeling the energy of the crowds there, the cries of the street vendors, the variety of the food on sale…
And my favorite bar is also located there:
The gothic architecture of the Myeongdong cathedral is in great contrast to its more modern neighboring buildings. I can’t wait to go back once I can afford to buy a wide angle lens.
I bet you didn’t notice the twenty types of bricks used to build the cathedral.
