Cold day in Myeongdong

Myeongdong is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul. It’s not that I’m a big fan of shopping, and I don’t think that I would enjoy living there (who actually does live there?).

But from time to time I enjoy feeling the energy of the crowds there, the cries of the street vendors,  the variety of the food on sale…

And my favorite bar is also located there:

The gothic architecture of the Myeongdong cathedral is in great contrast to its more modern neighboring buildings. I can’t wait to go back once I can afford to buy a wide angle lens.

I bet you didn’t notice the twenty types of  bricks used to build the cathedral.
